Erlendur Thor Magnusson could have been an outlaw carpenter or a cowboy fisherman, everyone thought he such great potential.  But he ended up going to art school. Working with photography, film, paint and sculpture his works usually emerge from long periods spent researching empty waves in his native Iceland.
